Intrepid Indians is a firm built on experience and relationships – our promoters are all military veterans and accomplished mountaineers. Our tailor-made treks and mountaineering expeditions are built on years of mountaineering and trekking experience. Being mountain dwellers sustainability is at the core of how we climb and operate. We don’t hire local resources we partner with locals and ensure they benefit from your visit. We also offer complimentary fitness guidance to help you be in ship shape for the treks and expeditions so you can enjoy the mountains as much as we do. We look forward to your patronage. 

Our Promoters

Captain Ram Bahadur Mall

Ram, is an Indian Army Veteran and an accomplished and celebrated mountaineer. Amongst his many summits are Everest, Makalu, Bhagirathi, Kamet, Trishul, besides many more. He has the distinction of skiing down Trishul and also has been nominated for the Tenzing Norgay Award by the Government of India. He hails from Vikasnagar in Dehradun in Uttarakhand and is the most experienced mountaineer of our team. Gentle, genial and very resourceful Ram is the epitome of hard work and dedication. Ram hold multiple Asian and world records in mountaineering

Rajneesh Joshi

Rajneesh, is the most qualified mountaineer on our team, he has best student awards from multiple courses and is a daredevil. His summits include Mount Nun and Kun in Ladakh, Mentok Kangri, Kangyatse amongst others. Blessed with very creative streak Rajneesh is also a published author and a photographer and artiste of repute. Rajneesh has represented the country at various fora internationally. Rajneesh hails from Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, and is now based out of Dehradun. Rajneesh too holds multiple records in mountaineering at the World, Asian and India levels. 

Major Anurag Shah

Anurag is an Indian Army Veteran, and a self taught mountaineer, without formal training he has multiple 6000 meters plus summits including Kangyatse in Ladakh and multiple virgin peaks. He has a successful corporate career outside of the Army and is very experienced with planning and strategy. An avid outdoor person, he has tons of knowledge and experience on mountains and jungles. Anurag hails from Almora in Uttarakhand and is currently based out of Gurgaon. Anurag holds Indian and Asian mountaineering records.
